PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Multnomah County released video on Thursday from multiple bridges during a major protest on August 17.

More than 1000 demonstrators gathered along Portland’s waterfront that Saturday. An overwhelming police presence largely kept the peace as the protest rolled on for nearly 8 hours.

A total of 13 people were arrested.

Cameras were rolling on both the Hawthorne and Morrison bridges, where protest groups can be seen on camera.

In one video, officers can be seen assisting one of the groups cross the Hawthorne Bridge, which had been closed.
