Students helped push for funding

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Seaside will be getting new tsunami warning signs thanks to funding from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Local students from Seaside helped push the city to work with state and federal partners to secure the funding.

They joined Major Jay Barber in showing off the new signs.
