Street drifting shuts down SE Portland intersection

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A street drifting event shut down roads Sunday night near the intersection of 48th Avenue and Division Street in Southeast Portland.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, multiple people called to report drivers and onlooking pedestrians blocking Division Street around 8 p.m. Sunday.

PPB said the department was aware of the calls, but officers did not respond because they did not have the resources to disperse the gathering.
