NW Portland schools lift lockout, theft suspect still sought

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Sunset High School and Terra Linda Elementary School were on lockout as Washington County deputies searched for a suspect connected to a theft in the area.

Both schools were on lockout as a precaution, according to WCSO. Lockouts were lifted after about 45 minutes.

The suspect is a thin, black man who was last seen wearing a Safeway employee’s raincoat with black pants.

Deputies are searching around NW Murray Boulevard and NW Trail Avenue. They’ve asked the public to please avoid the area while the investigation continues.
