PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Eleven people are without a home after a 2-alarm fire engulfed an apartment complex on Southwest 17th Street in Beaverton on Thursday morning.

The fire was called in around 2:30 a.m. As lighting and thunder stormed in the background, firefighters tamed the blaze within half an hour.

All units in the fourplex were destroyed by the fire but no injuries have been reported. Firefighters have not yet been able to get in to search the building because of structural damage.
