Missing Beaverton teen found safe in Oregon City

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities have located a 15-year-old Beaverton teen who went missing early Tuesday morning.

Washing County Sheriff’s Office said she was found safe in Oregon City thanks to a tip from a community member.

Sawyer Smith went missing near Southwest Walker Road and Southwest Murray Boulevard around 5 a.m. She was believed to be at risk for sex trafficking as there were some concerns related to her past history, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
