PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two earthquakes hit off the coast of southwest Oregon on Saturday evening and early Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

On Saturday night at 10:01 p.m., a magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit 94 miles southwest of Gold Beach, USGS reported.

The second one was a 4.6 magnitude earthquake that hit at 2:50 a.m. on Sunday 98 miles west of Brookings.

The National Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a warning for either earthquake.
