PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 4.5 earthquake struck over 100 miles off the southern Oregon coast on Tuesday.
The earthquake, according to the USGS, happened 171 miles west of Bandon, which is in Coos County.
The earthquake’s epicenter is just over 6 miles deep.
No tsunami warning was issued.
The earthquake happened in the Cascadia Subduction Zone, a massive fault-line stretching from northern California to Canada.
