Beavers baseball team jumps to No. 2 in national rankings

CORVALLIS, Ore. (KOIN) — With eight games left in the regular season, Oregon State’s baseball team has jumped to second in the country according to the NCAA rankings released Monday. 

The Beavers (38-8-1) took on then No. 2 Stanford (39-8) in a three-game weekend series where they won the first two games by 10 runs each before dropping the final game of the series in overtime.

Oregon State plays University of San Diego Monday and Tuesday in Corvallis before closing out the regular season with series against USC and UCLA.
