PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A homeowner near the outskirts of NW Albany caught this prowling cougar on camera Sunday night.

There have been multiple cougar sightings all across the Willamette Valley over recent months.

If you ever come across a cougar, the best thing to do is to stay calm, make eye contact and back away slowly.
