PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people in a Mini Cooper died Friday afternoon in a crash with a Dodge Ram on a road between Molalla and Canby, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at South Barnards and Dryland roads in an unincorporated part of the county. Several people were trying to help by the time multiple agencies arrived at the scene.

Though the cause of this crash hasn’t yet been determined, investigators said it appears the driver of the Mini Cooper was at fault. She died at the scene. Her passenger was rushed by Life Flight to an area hospital, but later died from his injuries.

Their names have not yet been released.

The driver of the Dodge Ram wasn’t hurt.
