Car knocks down power pole on TV Hwy, driver sought

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Deputies are searching for the driver of a car that hit a power pole on TV Highway and fled on Saturday night.

The crash happened between Southwest 170th and 174th and the car took off, according to Washington County deputies. A broken power pole lay upside down on the shoulder of TV Highway with powerlines hanging low across the lanes.

The car was found shortly later in Aloha but the driver was gone.

Deputies were tracking the driver with a K9.

TV Highway reopened just before 10:30 p.m.
