PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two teenagers crashed a stolen car on some train tracks in Milwaukie early Tuesday morning.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said the 17-year-old driver hit a patrol car and then tried to flee.
Then the driver crashed on Southeast Railroad Avenue and 37th Avenue near the tracks, flipping the SUV on its side.
Deputies said the driver was booked at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Center and the passenger, who is 14, was taken in for curfew charges but will be released to his parents.
The sheriff’s office said the deputy whose patrol car was hit was not hurt. It’s unclear whether the teens were injured.
