Driver killed in Vancouver head-on crash

Vancouver police said a car crossed the center line, hitting another car

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) -- A driver was killed and another driver injured in a Wednesday morning three-car crash in Vancouver. 

A car was traveling north in the 700 block of Northeast 136th Avenue when it crossed the center line and hit a car traveling southbound. The head-on collision caused the southbound car to hit a third vehicle. 

The Vancouver Police Department said the driver of the northbound car died of his injuries and the southbound driver was taken to a hospital. 

Officials said the people inside the third vehicle were not hurt. 

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the crash and police did not release any names.
