1 dead, 3 hurt in TV Hwy crash near Cornelius


The crash happened at TV Hwy and NW 334th

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One driver was killed and 3 other people were injured in a Thursday afternoon crash on TV Hwy just east of Cornelius, deputies said.

The crash happened just after 2 p.m. at NW 334th Avenue, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said a Ford F150 was traveling south on 334th, stopped at the stop sign and turned onto TV Hwy in front of a Ford F350 traveling west on TV Hwy.

The driver of the F150, 82-year-old Delbert Dewolf of Hillsboro, died at the scene.

The driver and 2 passengers in the F350 had minor injuries and taken to a hospital for a check-up. Deputies said the driver was cooperating with the investigation.

Deputies said the highway had reopened by about 5:30 p.m.
