Icy roads a likely factor in the crash, officials said

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A 2-car crash that injured 3 of the 7 people involved in Forest Grove was likely due to icy roads, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.

LifeFlight was called after a “serious” crash on Northwest Martin Road, according to a Forest Grove Fire tweet posted just after 5 p.m. Monday.

Crews cleared the scene after the two-vehicle crash temporarily shut down Martin Road.

The 3 injured people were taken to hospitals for treatment of “minor to moderate injuries,” Forest Grove Fire said. 

No further information is available at this time.

Forest Grove Fire also tweeted a warning to drivers about icy roadways in the area.
