PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A person riding a motorcycle was airlifted to a hospital Tuesday evening after crashing with a car in Hillsboro, deputies said.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue said the crash happened around 7 p.m. at Southwest Farmington Road and Southwest River Road.

A picture shared on social media by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office showed a motorcycle lying on its side in the middle of the road with a small car in the nearby ditch.

Deputies said the “rider of the motorcycle” was taken to a hospital via LifeFlight with life-threatening injuries.

It’s unclear whether anyone else was hurt.
