Band gear stolen from CAKE near PDX

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The popular band CAKE is searching for merchandise and equipment after it was stolen from their own truck near the Portland Airport.

CAKE said they had their truck parked at the Hilton Garden Inn near PDX when 2 boxes of merchandise and 5 instruments were stolen.

The stolen equipment includes 2 Yamaha keyboards, 2 Gibson guitars, and 1 Goya guitar.

Portland police confirmed they received a 9.1.1. call reporting the gear stolen.
