PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Beaverton couple was arrested after deputies say they were caught in the act of burglarizing a vacation rental in Lincoln City.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said Sarah and Troy Brausen were arrested at a house on East Devils Lake Road Wednesday night after the owner reported the keys stolen.

Investigators found a stolen Porsche SUV in the driveway and the Brausens inside.

Authorities said Sarah had the homeowner’s ID and credit cards and other stolen items, burglary tools, document counterfeiting equipment and a gun were also found.

They are each charged with first-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, first-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm, first-degree forgery and other charges. They’re being held on $565,000 bail.
