Car window shattered by gunfire in Lents neighborhood


There were no reported injuries

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A car had its back windshield blown out by gunshots in the Lents neighborhood of Southeast Portland Monday afternoon.

Portland police said multiple people reported hearing gunfire just after 1 p.m. near Southeast 102nd Avenue.

A few blocks over at Southeast 99th Avenue and Southeast Knight Street, officers found a parked car with its back window shattered, police said possibly from a bullet. They also found evidence of gunfire in the street.

There were no injuries reported.

The Gun Violence Reduction Team is investigating.
