PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The ex-husband of a woman who was stabbed to death in her Gresham home in 2016 has been arrested more than three years after her death.
Gresham police said Matthew Hester faces charges of criminal conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation of murder and hindering prosecution. He was arrested in Kennewick, Wash., where he lives now.
Annastasia Hester died at the hospital on June 10, 2016, after she was attacked. She had been able to call 911 for help but was too severely injured to describe her attacker to police.
Matthew Hester’s second wife Angela McCraw-Hester was arrested for the murder in October 2017.
