UPDATE: On June 11, Gresham Police determined the report was not credible after reviewing surveillance footage in the area.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A little girl claims a man in a dirty pickup truck offered her treats while she was walking her dog Sunday evening.

Gresham police said the 11-year-old was walking on NE 162nd near NE Hoyt Street in Gresham around 6:15 p.m. when the man drove up to her.

She said he offered her “treats” for her and the dog if she got into his truck. The girl ran away.

She described the driver as a white man in his 60s with light, straight shoulder-length hair and no facial hair. She said he has a black eye patch over his left eye and was wearing a black and grey flannel shirt.

He was driving a dirty blue 4-door Dodge pickup truck with a canopy.
