Hillsboro-Beaverton bust finds meth, coke, cash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Hillsboro man remains in the Washington County Jail after an October 8 drug bust and follow-up investigation.

Marcos Ramos-Angel faces charges of delivering and possessing both cocaine and meth. He was taken into custody after search warrants at 2 locations, one in Hillsboro, the other in Beaverton, found 1.5 pounds of meth and an ounce of cocaine in a Hillsboro apartment. Another 4 pounds of meth and about $6000 in cash was found in the Beaverton apartment, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators said they later found and seized another $11,000 from bank accounts, and noted the street value of the drugs was more than $16,000.

The 29-year-old man is being held on $50,000 bail.

The investigation by the Westside Interagency Narcotics team included members of Beaverton PD, Hillsboro PD, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Oregon National Guard, the FBI and Homeland Security.
