Thomas Osborn was shot and killed early Saturday morning

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The man who was killed in a Saturday shooting in the Irvington neighborhood has been identified as Thomas Osborn, said the Portland Police Bureau on Sunday.

Authorities initially found the 47-year-old Portland resident seriously injured near Northeast Broadway and Northeast 21st Avenue around 2:16 a.m. Saturday morning. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from the gunshot wound.

The Multnomah County Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide.
