PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man is accused of burglarizing the Beaverton Bottle Drop and is under investigation for burglary at other Bottle Drop locations in Oregon.

Beaverton police said Brett McQuiston, 34, was seen by the security guard with a crowbar and wearing a mask near midnight. When officers got there they found stolen money.

McQuinston later admitted he also tried to steal from a Bottle Drops in Tigard, Corvallis and Redmond. He said he used the stolen money to buy a Hummer and lost some gambling.

He was indicted for 3 counts of first-degree burglary and 3 counts of first-degree aggravated theft for the Beaverton incident.
