PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man died after he was shot in Southeast Portland on Thursday night.
Shortly before 10:30 p.m., Portland police arrived to the scene near Southeast 104th Avenue and Holgate Boulevard and found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition, however, he later died.
Authorities looked for a suspect for over an hour, but as of Friday morning, no one is in custody. Police added that they’re not sharing suspect information.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
Police later identified the victim as 40-year-old Kegan K. Thompson.
