Clarification: A press release provided by the Portland Police Bureau indicated that officers responded to a disturbance outside of Shake Bar. That report was inaccurate. Photos from the scene later provided to KOIN 6 News show the disturbance that ended in a shooting death happened further down NW 4th Avenue near Burnside. As we’ve previously reported, Shake Bar had been closed the day and night of the shooting. There appears to be no connection between Shake Bar and the shooting.
