Man shot, robbery detectives lead investigation


Victim sustained a non-life threatening injury


PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday night, Portland Police responded to a shooting call and found 1 injured man at the scene.

The victim was shot near the 4000 block of Southeast 51st Avenue. He was sent to the hospital with what is thought to be a non-life threatening injury.

Police say that because of the circumstances of the call, robbery detectives will be spearheading this investigation.

No information on the suspect is available at this time.
