Man stabbed in downtown Portland


Portland Police said his wounds were non-life threatening

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was stabbed in the stomach in downtown Portland Saturday night, said Portland Police.

Central Precinct officers got the report of a stabbing at 7:17 p.m. They arrived at SW 3rd Ave and West Burnside Street to find a man with a stab wound in his abdomen. He was taken to the hospital. Police said his wounds were “non-life threatening.”

The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived. Police said they have reason to believe the victim and the suspect know each other, but they have not found the suspect.

The case now with PPB’s Assault Detectives.
