Marshals arrest Colorado murder suspect in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A Colorado man wanted for murder was arrested in Portland Wednesday.

Deven Tomasso was taken into custody by US Marshals for allegedly stabbing Joshua Jost to death in January in Denver, the US District Attorney in Denver said in a release.

Tomasso, 33, and the 44-year-old Jost had an argument immediately prior to the stabbing, authorities said.

It's not clear how long Tomasso has been in Portland, and a timeframe for his extradition back to Colorado has not yet been determined.
