Medford ICE deportation officer charged with sodomy

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer faces multiple counts of sodomy for incidents unrelated to his position.

Oregon State Police said Blake Northway, 55, works as a deportation officer at the Medford ICE office but has been relieved of authority and placed on leave during the investigation.

Northway is being held at the Jackson County Jail on $1 million bail.

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold its officers to the highest standards of professional conduct and does not tolerate those who violate the law," said ICE Public Affairs Officer Tanya Roman in a press release. "ICE will continue to cooperate until this case has been resolved."
