SANDY, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was slashed in the throat following an argument Tuesday night at the Taco Bell in Sandy, officials said.

Sandy Police officers were called to the restaurant shortly after 9 p.m. on reports that a man had been stabbed in the neck.

Authorities said the man had argued with a woman inside of the Taco Bell. The woman left the building but returned and slashed the man’s throat, then fled in her car, nearly hitting people in the parking lot.

The victim was taken to a hospital and, after receiving stitches, left in good condition.

Officials said the victim and the suspect — identified as Caley S. Mason of Maryland — didn’t know one another.

Mason was stopped on Highway 212 in Clackamas shortly after the incident, officials said. She was arrested and booked at the Clackamas County Jail on charges of 2nd-degree assault, reckless driving and menacing. Another person — Phillip M. Thomas of Maryland — was also arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence.
