Police are asking for help locating 35-year-old Joseph Christian Evans

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Joseph Christian Evens is wanted for an assault that happened during the June 29 protests in Downtown Portland.

The 36-year-old has a felony warrant out for 2nd-degree assault and Portland Police are asking the public for help in finding him.

Evans is a white man, 5-foot-8, about 150 pounds, with curly brown hair and brown eyes. He has various tattoos on his neck, arms, legs, chest and stomach.

He was wearing a multicolored bandana and a black “Star Wars” shirt on the day of the assault.

Any information can be emailed to the Portland Police Bureau at crimetips@portlandoregon.gov. Crime Stoppers of Oregon is awarding $2,500 in cash to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
