PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland man accused of sexually abusing a patient at a mental health hospital was arrested Tuesday, according to deputies.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Christopher Zeisler was working as a mental health technician when he sexually abused a female patient he was caring for.

Detectives said the abuse took place while Zeisler was working the night shift at Cedar Hills Hospital in October 2018.

Video surveillance allegedly showed Zeisler spent an unusual amount of time in the patient’s room.

Zeisler, who is no longer employed at the hospital, was booked into the Washington County Jail on a single charge of first-degree sexual abuse. His bail was set at $250,000.
