Sherwood police need help ID'ing car theft suspect

SHERWOOD, Ore. (KOIN) -- The Sherwood Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a car theft and burglaries.

The suspect reportedly broke into several vehicles and homes in Sherwood and stole a Chevy Silverado. He also stole credit cards early Sunday morning and then used them at a Portland area Fred Meyer and gas station later that day.

The stolen vehicle is a 1999 blue Chevy Silverado Z28 truck with a tonneau cover and Oregon license plate WVS950.

The suspect is described as a white man around 30 years old. He has a medium build, 6-feet-tall, 190 pounds and bald with blue eyes.

Anyone with information about the suspect or stolen vehicle is asked to call the Washington County non-emergency line at 503.629.0111.
