Shots fired at Eastport Plaza: No injuries, no arrests


Investigators haven't ruled out whether the shooting was related to a nearby traffic stop

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — No one appeared to be hurt in a shooting Friday evening at Eastport Plaza, police said.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. in the 3900 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue.

Officers found evidence of gunfire in the parking lot but they didn’t find anyone hurt in the area or a suspect, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Officers pulled a car over just a couple of blocks away near Southeast 84th Avenue and Southeast Holgate Boulevard. It’s unclear if the shooting and traffic stop were connected.
