Man dies in Irvington neighborhood shooting

No suspects have been found

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was shot in the early hours of Saturday morning, said Portland Police. While officers found him still alive at the scene, he later died from his injuries.

The victim has not been identified, nor are the circumstances of the shooting in the Irvington neighborhood being released by police, who cited the integrity of their ongoing investigation.

North Precinct officers found the victim still alive but seriously wounded near Northeast Broadway and Northeast 21st Avenue around 2:16 a.m. Saturday morning. They were investigating that area after gunfire was reported.

No suspects have been arrested.

Homicide Detectives are now leading the case. Authorities are looking to speak with any witnesses or people who know anything about the incident.
