Suspect in October shooting with 1 victim arrested

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was arrested for a shooting that left one person critically injured.

Portland police said 27-year-old Jaron Moody was arrested during a search warrant related to the October 25 shooting at Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Northeast Monroe Street.

That night around 9:45 p.m. officers found evidence of a shooting but no victims or suspects. Later, a shooting victim showed up at a nearby hospital.

Moody faces charges of attempted murder II, assault I, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a weapon.
