PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A body was found near a major street in East Vancouver early Saturday morning.
Vancouver police said they found the body during a welfare check at 162nd Avenue north of 28th Street. They began receiving calls of a man down around 5:50 a.m. on Saturday.
The man reportedly suffered a serious head injury before his death.
Major Crimes is handling the investigation which has been classified as a “suspicious death.” No arrests have been made but police believe there to be no danger to the public.
No other details have been released.
