Teens arrested after Madison HS break-in

One of the suspects resisted arrest

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two teenagers were arrested after police said they broke into Madison High School late Sunday night.

Police said officers got to the school on Southeast 91st while the suspects were still inside. They surrounded the exits and waited for the suspects to come out.

William Cahill, 18, was arrested without incident and charged with interfering with a peace officer, 2nd-degree burglary, criminal mischief, theft and manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance. He was released from jail.

Steven Morales, 18, is being held on charges of interfering with a peace officer, 2nd-degree burglary, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. He also faces unrelated charges of DUII and reckless driving.
