PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities arrested a 56-year-old Tigard man on charges of sexually abusing young girls.

Louis Howard Johnson was arrested Monday at the Greenburg Oaks Apartments where he works, according to Tigard police.

Investigators said Johnson sexually abused multiple victims who were all minors at the time. The abuse allegedly took place about 15 years ago and authorities said he may have more victims since he worked at various rental properties that gave him access to residents and children.

Johnson was indicted and booked into the Washington County Jail on six counts of 1st-degree unlawful sexual penetration and seven counts of 1st-degree sexual abuse.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to send an email to tips@tigard-or.gov or call Tigard police at 503.718.2677.
