PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 22-year-old Vancouver man was arrested in the latest street racing crackdown by Portland police this holiday weekend.

Nathan M. Hixson was arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail for reckless driving and reckless endangering.

In all, patrolling officers made 68 traffic stops in North and Northeast Portland in this focused street racing operation. One car was towed and, in a separate stop, a loaded handgun was found.
