Local kids learn about the dangers of drug abuse during Red Ribbon Week

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Across the region local schools are teaching about the dangers of drug abuse.

Red Ribbon Week, as it’s called, is a time for students to learn about the effects and dangers of drug use.

Jill Nowak, a lab testing expert with Any Lab Test Now in Tualatin, joined AM Extra to talk about how to know if your child is taking drugs.
