PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two Salem Civic Center windows were struck recently by what appears to be firearm bullets, prompting an investigation by the Salem Police, the department said on Tuesday.

Salem Police first found evidence of possible firearm damage to a window on Jan. 6 at approximately 7 p.m. Salem Police said they responded to the Civic Center but didn’t locate any suspects. Two days later, more evidence of possible gunfire was found. This one was discovered on a different side of the building and was similar to the previously found window damage. Police did say the cause of the second window damage “is not exactly known.”

There are no suspects.

Salem Police is asking anyone with information to call (503) 588-6123.
