PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A small fish — now named Rocky — got a second chance at life thanks to officers at Gresham Police Department.

When officers found Rocky, its tank was half full of garbage and cigarette butts. They were surprised Rocky was still alive.

Officer Tatro took Rocky into CB’s Tropical Aquarium to get a new home. According to Gresham police, not only did the owner help out — but he donated all of Rocky’s supplies.

Rocky has found a new home at the department’s Rockwood office greeting community members.
