NEWBERG, Ore. (KOIN) — A hang glider is safe after he was stuck in some treetops in the Newberg area Sunday evening.
According to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, the hang glider was reached and safely lowered roughly 150 feet to the ground. No injuries were reported.

“When the patient reached the forest floor, a big smile and thumbs up was given to all crew members,” said TVF&R.
NE Mountain Top Road in Newberg was closed for short time to help free the hang glider, but the road was later open to the public.
