PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The 2019 Portland Marathon will start and end at Waterfront Park.
The organizers of the race released the route details on Friday.
Runners will cross 4 city bridges, including the Sellwood and Broadway bridges.
They’ll also take in the sights of Northwest 23rd Avenue, Westmoreland and the Eastbank Esplanade.
A so-called “cheer challenge” will also encourage onlookers to cheer on the runners, who will then vote on which neighborhood was their favorite.
The Portland Marathon will take place Oct. 6.
