Jesse Allen was considered armed and dangerous

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man accused of killing a woman in Medford was arrested after fleeing the scene Friday afternoon.

Medford Police said Jesse Allen, 20, shot the woman multiple times in an apartment on Arrowhead Drive around 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. He was seen running away after the gunshots were heard.

Medford police were searching for Allen, who they considered armed and dangerous. He was taken into custody Saturday.

Police later identified the woman as 21-year-old KayLynn Klosterman.

Medford Police Department officials said Monday that an autopsy would be performed on Klosterman Tuesday.
