PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland man was sentenced to 7 years in prison for selling illegal drugs on the darknet.

The US Attorney’s Office of Oregon said Skylaar Ford, 24, sold ecstasy to people across the US.

Officials said Ford was on post-prison supervision for a previous drug conviction when a parole officer found more than 100 grams of heroin in his home.

Further searching after his arrest turned up a package addressed to Ford that had about 500 grams of MDMA, also known as molly and ecstasy. The US Attorney’s Office said Ford admitted he bought the drugs online from the Netherlands and was reselling it on the darknet.

Investigators said he’d sold ecstasy more than 500 times since November 2016.
