PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A head-on crash Saturday morning killed a driver of one of the cars, police said.
The crash happened on North Denver Avenue — just north of Columbia Boulevard at 8:40 a.m. As officers were responding to the scene, the caller reported that CPR was being performed on one of the drivers.
When officials arrived on scene, they determined that one driver was dead. Occupants of the other vehicle did not suffer any serious injuries.
According to preliminary information, the deceased driver may have suffered a medical event while driving — causing the crash.
Traffic on North Denver Avenue will be affected until the crash scene is clear.
